The book of the Prophet's Government is one of the few books that is introduced to students in academic centers as a textbook and entrance exams. This book is the work of the Iraqi researcher and scientist, "Saleh Ahmad al-Ali". Despite his position in historiography, it is necessary and essential to review his works, including this book, and to purify it from unconscious and perhaps biased shortcomings. This book can be reviewed and criticized in three areas: content, structure, and documents. Although this book has some problems in terms of structure and citations, the most fundamental problems are observed in the content of the book, which seems to have been done with a bias, which mostly includes emphasizing the role of the caliphs, not stating or changing historical reports, dubious claims, downplaying the role of Imam Ali, and contradictions. This research, using ancient Sunni sources, critically examines this book in an analytical-descriptive manner.
