Abstract: (1107 Views)
The Mongol era is considered as one of the most important historical periods of Iran in many ways. It was a period of confrontation between the two Mongolian-Turkish cultures and Iranian culture (urbanization). Here, different classes of Iran got to know a new culture that was completely different from the Iranian culture and urbanization. In the culture of the invading people, unlike the defeated people, women had a high position in all aspects. But with the passage of time and the Mongols' intermingle with the Iranian culture, we gradually witness the decline of the aforementioned characteristics. The main question of the current research is what factors have been effective in the evolution of the mentioned issue? It is hypothesized that despite the effects of various factors, the main factor should be sought in the views and thoughts hidden in Ghazan Khan's reforms regarding women. It was a descriptive-analytical study using library sources.
