Abbasali Meshkati Sabzevari, Mohsen Alviri,
Volume 2, Issue 3 (Snmmer 2011)
Abstract

On the problem of the relation between Feqh and civilization different views can be found, as no relation, weak relation and essential or fundamental relation. The problem can be studied in two levels: one relying on the sources of Feqh and the other on the more developed sources. The latter may be called desirable Feqh. If the former be taken as the base, the one in which it is tried to prove the parts, problems and subjects of Feqh with reviewing the books, we can claim a clear relition between Feqh and civilization. Though, it does not mean that all social systems of civilization can be found completely in present Feqh. Yet the structural main frameworks can surely be extracted from the sources. In the paper, the claim that system-making by Feqh as the first step for civilization is due to compiling governmental Feqh, has been studied also.

Abstract

The regularity of history, the nature of the law of history, the method of how dealing with the regularity of history under related verses of the Qur’an, and the category of the factor of the law of history, all fall in the domain of theoretical philosophizing about history in the light of Qur’anic approach. From among the features of the law of history in the light of the Qur’an mention can be made of the comprehensiveness of the law of history, the divinity of it, human will in the law of history, that the law of history cannot be changed or altered, the ties between man’s social life and the law of history, that the law of history is peculiar to man’s worldly life, that the law of history is practicable, and the like. The regularity of history according to the Qur’an comes from three major factors: “divine will”, “human will”, and “what is useful for man”. The explanation of the relation between human will and the law of causality in history, the range of man’s will in history, the relation between human will and the orientation of historical phenomena, man’s will and its relation with historical development are mainly dealt with in the theoretical philosophy of history in the light of the Qur’an.

Abstract

Besides identifying the obligations of the responsible people, the jurisprudential verses of the Quran, as parts of the religious doctrine and as origins of the jurisprudence science, have social functions and consequences. These consequences directly or indirectly influence the different systems that make up a community and consequently influence a civilization. Based on the late Martyr Sadr’s classification of the jurisprudential issues into four main parts including worship, property, private practices and public etiquette with several sub-branches, this article has tried to examine the social and civilizational implications of the jurisprudential verses of the Quran based on three elected systems: the cultural system, the political system and the economical system. The findings of this research revealed that these verses contained a multitude of social and civilizational functions that could be called civilization capabilities.

Abstract

The lack of a significant definition for historical thought, like many words of historical knowledge, has caused ambiguity and errors for the researchers of this science. By choosing the lexical definition method, which has the subtlety of gathering previous definitions and providing a definition close to them, this article has answered the question of what definition can be provided to understand the concept of historical thought among the Available definitions with the celected method. ? By creating a semantic field of words with close meanings and using the library method, the researches gathered around these meanings and the definition of "thought tendency of an individual or the school of opinion in some branches or all the theoretical fields of history" are proposed for historical thought. Finally, in order to determine the boundary of the proposed definition with parallel concepts, the differences between (history, historiography, etc.) were discussed.
