Abstract: (2103 Views)
Al-Mu`ayyed Billah Alavi was from Hasani Sadat of Dilam who rebelled against the local governor of Roodsar; a governor that was dependent on Ale Booye and to those remained from Alavi Thaeri family. For illegitimacy of the rulers and the people`s discontent and some characteristic qualities of Al-Mu`ayyed Billah, he won and caused a development in political power from the east of Gilan, Roodsar, to Klar and Chaloos. Since little can be found about the character of Al-Mu`ayyed Billah in recent sources, this paper has intended to study his different aspects of character with reference to original sources. As is made clear in the paper, before twelve Imai Shiites` getting power in Dilam, Sadat of Zeidi Shiite was of considerable influence there and the man was known as a famous figure of Zeidism with close tendency to Imami.
