The main concern of the Shiites, especially the Imami Shiites, the religion of the innocents (PBUH) and the issue of Imamate, led to the emergence of Ahl al-Bayt books, which can be classified under the biographical branch of Islamic historiography. Considering that belief is one of the main principles of biography, it is important to study the ratio of the use of words and history in these works. In this research, an attempt was made to identify the theological and historical components and to measure the frequency of these indicators in the book Nozhato al-Karam and Bostan al-Awam written by Mohammad bin Hossein Razi Abi (lived in 630 A.H.). Therefore, the question of the present article is, which theological and historical components did Razi use in writing the biography of Chardeh Masoom (pbuh) in the book Nozhato al-Karam, and what is the ratio between the abundance of these components in the field of theology and history? The method used is descriptive with emphasis on quantitative content analysis. The result of the research shows The two components "reasoning based on the science of religion" and "miracle" as the most frequent theological components of the book, were most of all linked with the historical indicators of virtue and timely incident. "Virtue" is the dominant feature of the text. Razi intertwines this characteristic with theological components, especially miracles, to simultaneously cover the sacred and earthly dignity of Imam (a.s.) and place him beyond other competitors in the field of Imamate and Caliphate.
