Abstract: (2002 Views)
The current research deals with the issue of how Ahl al-Bayt (AS) socially interacted with the patients? It investigates the propositions of the life style of Imams (AS) and specifically, their social life in the ancient sources, both the historical and narrative ones using an analytical method. Based on the findings of the current research, the components of their social style were: following and providing the material and spiritual needs of the patients, responding to universal treatment, dealing with the patient's fear of death and wish to die, dealing with the patient's family situation, reducing the patient's social role and the social pathology of the relationship with the patient. The variables that increase the responsibility of this style include social cohesion (acquaintance, neighborhood, traveling together), the living condition of the patient and special diseases. Limiting variables include the shortness of the illness (three days), specific diseases, bad character and bad behavior of the patient. As a result, it became clear that in the social life of Ahl al-Bayt, in addition to ensuring the welfare, comfort and health of the patient and those around the patient, education, upbringing and spirituality were also targeted.
